There are some people who will never hear the Good News of Jesus’ coming to save us except through us. They will never darken the inside of a church unless we live lives that welcome them into
the community of the church. As we hear Mary’s visit to Elizabeth, we should realize that we are called to not focus on ourselves but to reach out and visit those who need our help, thus enabling them to experience the Lord Jesus whom we bring to them. Our caring and compassionate deeds must make people aware that they are blessed by God and that we can only find salvation through His Son, Jesus.
Adults: To whom can I reach out during the week ahead in a way which invites others to experience the presence of the Lord Jesus in a new and positive way?
Children: How can I show others that Jesus is within me?
